Thomas Reimer, der in Graz geborene Gitarrist, zeigt auf diesem Tonträger nicht nur sein Gitarrenspiel, sondern auch seine Fähigkeiten als Komponist. Die vorliegende CD enthält neben den Eigenkompositionen Reimers auch eine Reihe von Standards, unter anderem auch die Interpretation eines Beatles- Klassikers: "Sgt. Peppers". Wenn man Standards wie John Coltranes "Giant Steps" ... ins Programm nimmt, setzt man sich selbst einen harten Prüfstein. Die vertrackte Akkordfolge in Giant Steps hat schon manch einen renommierten Jazzer fast in den Wahnsinn getrieben. Guitarist Thomas Reimer, born in Graz, finally recorded the first CD under his own name, and presents himself not only as a guitar player but also displays his talent as a composer. In addition to original tunes, there are a number of standards on this CD, including an arrangement of the Beatles classic "Sgt. Pepper's".
